The Jakarta Metropolitan Police are currently completing the case files for three other suspects in the case concerning allegations of a fake diploma belonging to Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The three suspects are Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Rustam Effendi, and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah. They are known to be part of the first cluster.

"The case files for the other cluster are currently being processed," said the Director of General Criminal Investigation at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Senior Commissioner Iman Imanuddin, to reporters on Tuesday (30/6). Iman stated that his party would also soon transfer the case files of the three suspects in the near future. However, Iman could not yet confirm when the phase one transfer would take place. "In the near future, we will send the case files to the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office," he said.

Previously, the Jakarta Metropolitan Police named eight suspects in the case of the alleged fake diploma of Jokowi. These eight suspects were divided into two clusters. The first cluster consisted of five suspects: Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Damai Hari Lubis, Rustam Effendi, and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah. The second cluster consisted of three suspects: Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar, and Tifauziah Tyassuma, also known as Dr Tifa.

From the first cluster, Eggi and Damai had applied for restorative justice. The request was accepted, and the police have halted the investigation against both, with a Warrant to Terminate Investigation subsequently issued. Meanwhile, for the second cluster, Rismon also applied for restorative justice. That request was accepted, and the police have halted the investigation against Rismon, with a Warrant to Terminate Investigation also issued. As for Roy and Tifa, their case files have been declared complete, or P-21. Roy and Tifa have also been transferred to the South Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office on Monday (22/6). Tifa’s first trial will be held at the East Jakarta District Court on Thursday (2/7). Meanwhile, the trial schedule for Roy has not yet been determined because he filed a pre-trial motion at the South Jakarta District Court.
