Case Files Completed: Petong, Killer of Man Colik, Transferred to Klungkung District Attorney's Office
The case files regarding the premeditated murder of a culinary entrepreneur from Negari Village, Klungkung, I Nyoman Cita, also known as Pak Man Colik (50), have been declared complete. The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Klungkung Police subsequently transferred the case files along with the suspect, Agus Novit Pramana Putra, alias Petong (30), to the Klunglag District Attorney’s Office (Kejari Klungkung) on Monday (21/09/2026).
Observations at the location showed that the suspect, Petong, arrived at the Klungkung District Attorney’s Office at approximately 10:00 WITA. The 30-year-old man was wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops, and was under tight police escort. His face was heavily covered with a black mask to avoid camera attention. Without much comment, Petong was led by investigators into the examination room to undergo the Stage II handover process, involving the transfer of the suspect and physical evidence.
The Head of the Public Crimes Division of the Klungkung District Attorney’s Office, I Putu Gede Dharma Putra, stated that the Public Prosecutor team had reviewed the case files prepared by the police investigators. The results indicated that the files were complete in both formal and material aspects.
“We, the Public Prosecutors at the Klungkung District Attorney’s Office, have carried out the handover of the suspect and evidence from the Satreskrim Polres Klungkung investigators in the murder case involving suspect ANPP,” said Dharma.
Moving forward, the Public Prosecutor will extend the detention of the suspect, Petong, for the next 20 days. During this period, the suspect will be held at the Klungkung Class 2B Detention Centre. The Public Prosecutor aims to transfer the case files to the Semarapura District Court within the next 20 days so that the trial can proceed promptly.
“Prior to detention, the suspect was also confirmed to be in a healthy condition based on medical examinations at the Klungkung Police Clinic,” Dharma explained.
During the upcoming trial, the Public Prosecutor is preparing multi-layered indictments for the suspect, ANPP. “The suspect is charged with the first primary indictment under Article 459 of Law Number 1 of 2023 regarding the Criminal Code concerning premeditated murder, which carries a penalty of death, life imprisonment, or a maximum of 20 years in prison. Additionally, there is a subsidiary indictment under Article 458 of the Criminal Code regarding murder,” Dharma noted.
Furthermore, Petong is also facing layered charges related to theft accompanied by violence resulting in death, specifically under Article 476 or Article 479 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code.
Before the transfer to the prosecutor’s office, Klungkung Police investigators completed a series of investigative processes, including a reconstruction involving 46 scenes. This reenactment revealed how Petong planned the attack and executed the victim in the Tukad Bubuh river area.
The motive behind the act was reportedly deep-seated resentment caused by accusations and remarks made by the victim on social media, which originated from a fraudulent online dating application scheme. For his actions, Petong must now face legal accountability.
