Case File Complete, Drug Courier for Ko Erwin Network Transferred to Prosecutors

The Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police has completed the case file for a suspect linked to the drug network of Erwin Iskandar, also known as Ko Erwin. The suspect, Patrisius, who acted as a courier, has now been handed over to prosecutors. The handover of the suspect and his case file took place today at the Bima District Prosecutor’s Office. The transfer was conducted by investigators from Sub-Directorate IV of the Bareskrim Narcotics Crime Directorate to the public prosecutor at the Bima District Prosecutor’s Office. “The overall process of handing over the suspect and evidence proceeded safely, orderly, and smoothly,” said Senior Commissioner Handik Zusen, Head of Sub-Directorate IV of the Bareskrim Narcotics Crime Directorate, to reporters on Monday (13/7/2026). Handik stated that investigators also handed over evidence in the case against Patrisius to the prosecutor. The evidence includes a mobile phone suspected of being used in Ko Erwin’s drug transactions. The detention of suspect Patrisius is now under the authority of the prosecutor’s office. The case will soon proceed to trial. As previously reported, Bareskrim officers arrested Patrisius at a rented house in the East Jakarta area on 25 March 2026. The arrest was part of the investigation into the Ko Erwin drug network. After being secured without resistance, Patrisius was immediately taken to the Bareskrim Narcotics Crime Directorate headquarters for intensive questioning. During initial interrogation, Patrisius’s role was clearly exposed. He admitted to repeatedly acting as a methamphetamine courier under Ko Erwin’s command throughout 2024 to 2025. One of his largest operations occurred in November 2025, when he collected a package of methamphetamine weighing approximately 1 kilogram from a hotel room in the Harmoni area of Central Jakarta. The high-value illicit goods were then smuggled and sent to the Bima region via land route using a passenger bus. For his courier services, Patrisius admitted to receiving a payment of IDR 20 million, which was transferred directly to his personal bank account.
