Cartenz Task Force Arrests Firearm Intermediary for KKB Network in Sarmi

The 2026 Cartenz Operation Task Force, alongside the Sarmi Police, arrested a man with the initials YK, who is suspected of playing a role as an intermediary for the distribution of firearms and ammunition to the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) network in Sarmi Regency, Papua, on Saturday (6/6). The Head of Public Relations for the Cartenz Peace Operation, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, stated on Monday (8/6) that this arrest is the result of an expanded investigation into the weapons supplier network suspected of supplying armed groups in the Highland Papua region.
