Carrira 1 officially launches in the Indonesian market
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Ofero Technology Indonesia (Ofero) has officially launched the Carrira 1 to support the needs of individuals and MSMEs at the Jakarta Fair 2026 exhibition in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
Auditya Gunawan, Brand Department of Ofero Indonesia, stated that electric vehicles are no longer merely an alternative mode of transport, but have evolved into instruments of productivity.
“Through the Carrira 1, we aim to provide mobility solutions that can assist MSMEs, local entrepreneurs, couriers, and logistics companies in increasing operational efficiency without compromising productivity,” Auditya said in an official statement on Tuesday.
To compete with other two-wheeled electric vehicles, this electric vehicle relies on its load capacity, durability, and high usage efficiency.
According to available records, another advantage of the Carrira 1 centres on its dual battery system, which allows the vehicle to travel up to 130 kilometres on a single full charge.
The Carrira 1 is claimed to be ideal for various business needs, ranging from goods distribution, last-mile delivery services, and culinary businesses to the operational activities of companies requiring reliable field vehicles.
In terms of safety, the electric vehicle is supported by Traction Control System (TCS) technology, which helps maintain vehicle traction across various road surface conditions.
Regarding comfort and practicality, the Carrira 1 is equipped with modern features such as a 6-inch digital panel with auto-brightness, NFC keyless access, a USB charging port, an anti-theft alarm, a 34-litre boot capacity, and an extended seat that provides greater flexibility for daily or operational needs.
Zhaenal Fanani, Retail Training at Ofero Indonesia, explained that operational vehicles must be capable of daily use across various road conditions while providing a sense of security and comfort.
“Therefore, we have equipped the Carrira 1 with various safety features and technologies that support a more reliable driving experience,” said Zhaenal Fanani.
