Caring for Palestine: PPDI of PT IPC Container Terminal Channels Aid through Adara

In response to the increasingly difficult conditions in Palestine, PT IPC Terminal Peti Kemas, through the Pusat Pembinaan Dakwah Islam (PPDI), has channelled aid funds via Adara Relief International. “The aid will be distributed to the orphans of Gaza as an effort to bring happiness into the heart of a Muslim. This is hoped to serve as a bridge of hope for families in Palestine,” said Adara Relief International’s Chief Executive, Maryam Rachmayani, in a press release. The Finance Director, Human Resources, and Risk Management of PT IPC Terminal Peti Kemas, Yanuar Evyanto, stated that the channelling of employee zakat from PT IPC TPK through Adara represents their concern for fellow Muslims in Palestine. “It is hoped that this can help alleviate the suffering they are experiencing,” said Yanuar during the handover ceremony of the humanitarian aid. The funds were handed over directly by Yanuar, along with Agus Fazri (Chairman of PPDI PT IPC TPK) and Indah Lestari (Chair of the Muslim Affairs Division of PPDI PT IPC TPK), to Maryam Rachmayani. In addition to the aid distribution, PPDI PT IPC Terminal Peti Kemas also conducted a Muslimah study session through Adara Relief’s Kolaborasi Kebaikan Ramadhan programme. The session, themed on the steadfastness of Gaza’s Muslim women, is expected to provide strengthening for the participants.
