Caring for NTT: Extend a Helping Hand to Earthquake Victims Now

Earthquake victims in Nusa Tenggara Timur are in need of assistance. CT Arsa Foundation has opened a donation channel for members of the public who wish to help ease the burden on the victims.

According to data from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), as of Saturday (22/8), 87 people have died and 1,298 have been injured.

The number of displaced people currently stands at 150,576. The largest numbers of evacuees are in Manggarai Regency with 41,427 people, Nagekeo Regency with 34,256, and East Manggarai Regency with 31,372.

Since the magnitude 7 earthquake struck on Saturday, 15 August 2026, residents of NTT have continued to face aftershocks. The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has recorded 5,012 aftershocks. The victims are still awaiting a helping hand.

Concern for the NTT earthquake victims has prompted CT Arsa Foundation to initiate the PEDULI NTT campaign. The disaster may have brought down many buildings, but it has not brought down the sense of humanity. We can be present to offer hope and support.
