Car stickers

Car stickers

From Kompas

I wish manufacturing companies and related business firms would maintain ethics, especially when promoting a product or distributing advertorial information about a company. This should also be the case for stickers on parked cars.

Sometime ago at the Lippo Supermal in Lippo Karawaci, Tangerang, I found a sticker Lippo Supermal stuck on my parked car. Cars in the surrounding area also faced the same treatment.

A similar experience happened a month ago in the parking lot of Wisma Dharmala Bank in Jalan Sudirman, Jakarta. A sticker saying 13 Tahun Anniversary CFC (CFC's 13th Anniversary) was stuck to my car. I had problems trying to remove the stickers from the front and rear windows of my car. The stickers were glued at random and at someone's own will.

On a third occasion I parked my car (Feb. 17) in front of our doctor's house in Kemanggisan, West Jakarta. Within 15 minutes, a sticker of Minyak Djinggo (Djinggo Oil) the size of a plate, featuring the ad model, Ari Wibowo, had been stuck to my rear window.

I am annoyed by the random way they stick advertisements on people's cars. Hence, I would appreciate it if companies on a promotion campaign would provide marketing personnel with guidelines on where stickers should be placed.
