BEKASI, KOMPAS.com — A black car went viral on social media after being seen driving on the jogging track at M Hasibuan Square in Margajaya Village, South Bekasi District, Bekasi City.
The video gained widespread attention after being posted on Instagram account @bekasi.terkini, sparking numerous comments from netizens.
In the circulating footage, the vehicle is seen on a path typically used by the public for exercise, leisurely walks, and family activities in the square.
In response to the viral video, Robbie Arfiansyah Putra, Head of the Public Order and Community Safety Section (Tibumtranmas) at Bekasi City’s Satpol PP, stated his office only became aware of the incident after the video went viral on social media.
“To my knowledge, no one reported the incident to on-site officers. We found out about it via social media this morning,” Robi told Kompas.com via message on Monday (25/5/2026).
“That is definitely not permitted. It’s a jogging track and public exercise facility — a basic understanding of its purpose known to the general public,” he added.
He confirmed officers would take immediate action if similar incidents were observed.
“Yes, action will be taken on the spot. We also urge the public to report violations immediately,” Robi said.
“Satpol PP will conduct patrols and monitoring at the square,” he stated.

The viral video continues to draw responses from netizens, with many social media users stating that vehicles in the jogging track area pose safety risks to visitors, particularly children and residents exercising in the square.
