Starting from 1 June 2026, the implementation time for Hari Bebas Kendaraan Bermotor (HBKB) or Car Free Day (CFD) will be advanced to 05:30–10:00 WIB. This policy will be enforced after an initial trial this week in the Thamrin-Sudirman and Rasuna Said areas.

Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung Wibowo stated that the new CFD schedule trial will take place this week and will officially apply from 1 June. “Because I am diligent in exercising and enthusiastic about sports, starting from 1 June, we will propose that Car Free Day begins at 05:30 in the morning,” Pramono explained on Friday (8/5/2026).

Pramono explained that this schedule will apply to CFD in the Rasuna Said and Thamrin-Sudirman areas. He also hopes that all facilities in Rasuna Said will be completed by 1 June, allowing the public who wish to participate in CFD in the Rasuna Said area to exercise comfortably.

“We will soon complete the renovation or revitalisation facilities in Rasuna Said. Hopefully, by June, everything will be fully completed,” Pramono said.

Previously, Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Ujang Harmawan revealed that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will implement Hari Bebas Kendaraan Bermotor (HBKB) on Jalan H.R. Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, on 10 May 2026 from 05:30–10:00 WIB as part of the launch event for Jakarta City’s 499th Anniversary.

“For Jalan H.R. Rasuna Said on the east side, it will apply to the segment from the Gembira Road intersection to the Raya Casablanca Road intersection. Meanwhile, on the west side, it will apply to the segment from the Prof. Dr. Satrio Road intersection to the Setiabudi Utara Raya Road intersection,” Ujang clarified.

The DKI Dishub provides four parking points around the event location: Pasar Festival and GOR Soemantri parking with 305 car spaces and 437 motorcycle spaces; Rasuna Epicentrum area parking with 850 car spaces and 685 motorcycle spaces; Setiabudi One with 310 car spaces and 450 motorcycle spaces; and Nyi Ageng Serang Building with 215 car spaces and 435 motorcycle spaces.

Public transport services will continue to operate during HBKB, namely Transjakarta routes L13 (Puri Beta–Kuningan Express Flyover), 4D (Pulo Gadung–Kuningan), 6 (Ragunan–Galunggung), 6A (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Kuningan), 6B (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Semanggi), and 6H (Senen–Lebak Bulus).

In addition, the LRT Jabodebek lines from Dukuh Atas–Harjamukti and Dukuh Atas–Jati Mulya will also continue to operate.
