Car Free Day on HR Rasuna Said in Jakarta This Weekend: Check the Traffic Arrangements

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will enforce a Motor Vehicle-Free Day (HBKB) or Car Free Day (CFD) on Jalan HR Rasuna Said in South Jakarta on Sunday (10/5/2026). The CFD coincides with the launch of the 499th Anniversary of the City of Jakarta and will run from 5:30 a.m. WIB until 10:00 a.m. WIB. Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency Ujang Harmawan stated that the HBKB will be applied to several segments of Jalan HR Rasuna Said. “For the eastern side of Jalan HR Rasuna Said, HBKB applies from the Gembira Road intersection to the Raya Casablanca Road intersection. Meanwhile, on the western side, it applies from the Prof. Dr. Satrio Road intersection to the Setiabudi Utara Raya Road intersection,” Ujang said in Jakarta on Thursday (7/5/2026), quoted from Antara. During the CFD implementation, several roads in the Rasuna Said area will be closed, and traffic engineering will be carried out.
