This newspaper published a picture of the recent Car-Free Day in Jakarta. It is a pity that the picture shows an empty road being used as a playground for soccer.

In fact, the Car-Free Day organizing committee should have asked people to use the roads for other activities in observance of Car-Free Day. Of course, the committee should also have provided a special car lane for emergency purposes.

Hopefully, the picture referred to earlier does not encourage residents to make use of empty roads as playgrounds because playing on the road is hazardous.
