Car Collides with Bus Lane Divider on DI Panjaitan, East Jakarta, Triggering Traffic Congestion

A car collided with a bus lane divider, or the barrier separating the Transjakarta route from the general traffic lane, on Jl DI Panjaitan, East Jakarta. As a result, traffic approaching the location is congested.

“A passenger vehicle was involved in a single-vehicle accident, colliding with the bus lane barrier on Jl DI Panjaitan, East Jakarta (Pedati Prumpung),” said the TMC Polda Metro Jaya via its official X account on Wednesday (25 February 2026).

The vehicle that collided with the road divider is currently being dealt with. Officers are already at the scene. Meanwhile, traffic approaching the location is reported to be heavy.

“Traffic flow in the vicinity of the location is quite congested,” it said.

Based on photos uploaded by TMC Polda Metro Jaya, the front left side of the car is damaged due to the impact with the road barrier. The headlight is broken, and the left side of the front bumper is also damaged.
