Vehicle auctions are becoming a preferred alternative for the public seeking diverse car options through a competitive bidding mechanism. As auction services evolve, businesses in this sector are expanding their reach while offering various programmes to attract and provide added value to customers.

PT Balai Lelang Asta Nara Jaya (AUKSI) is leveraging the momentum of National Customer Day through a programme titled SELLA: SAFEtember, making auctions safer. The programme offers one year of vehicle insurance protection as well as bonus points for members who meet the specified terms.

This special National Customer Day programme will take place during the auction session on 4 September 2026. The first 10 car units won by members through the highest bidding mechanism will receive free vehicle insurance protection for one year from the date of handover.

In addition to insurance protection, winners will also receive a bonus of 20 Reward Points, known as ‘CUAN’. These points will be credited to the AUKSI application account no later than one day after the winner completes the settlement process and can be used according to programme terms until the end of the year.

AUKSI Commercial Director, Tantu Agung, stated that the programme is part of the company’s efforts to provide added value to customers purchasing vehicles through the auction system. According to him, customer trust is a vital aspect of the vehicle auction business.

“Customer trust is the fundamental basis of our operations. Through the SELLA programme, we want to provide a sense of security as well as additional benefits for our customers,” Tantu said in a written statement on Thursday (3/9/2026).

To obtain these benefits, auction winners must complete payments in accordance with AUKSI’s standard terms, which is a maximum of three working days after the auction session takes place.

Alongside the launch of the National Customer Day programme, AUKSI also announced an expansion into 12 new areas. This expansion covers Medan, Pekanbaru, Padang, Jambi, Palembang, Lampung, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Makassar, and Manado.

The expansion is aimed at increasing public access, particularly outside Java, to vehicle auction services. The presence of an operational network in various regions is expected to support the vehicle buying and selling process with a wider reach.

“Through this programme, we want to ensure customers gain benefits, ranging from acquiring vehicle units to receiving insurance protection and CUAN bonus points,” said Tantu.

AUKSI currently operates three pools located in Ciledug, South Jakarta; Semarang, Central Java; and Sidoarjo, East Java. The company, which has been established since 2012, operates in the field of vehicle and asset auctions.

Through the promotional programme in September and the expansion of its reach to several cities, AUKSI aims to strengthen its vehicle auction business while reaching a broader customer base across various regions of Indonesia.
