Car accident puts out Pena

JAKARTA (JP): America's Frank Pena, who was scheduled to fight
the WBF champion Suwito Lagola of Indonesia, has had a car
accident with his father and coach Al Pena in Colorado, Denver.
Pena is being treated in hospital.

Promoter Anthon Sihombing told Antara yesterday that Leroy
Owens of Las Vegas, Nevada, would replace Pena in the fight here
on April 17 at the Granadha building.

Suwito, who won the title last year, will receive US$15,000
cash and Pena will get $8,000. Anthon said there would be no
problems transferring the Pena's contract to Owens. (yan)
