This was stated by Aulia Noviana Utami Putri, Corporate Secretary of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia, in Jakarta, on the idx.co.id website. Meanwhile, the number of stock investors also showed an increase, totalling 9,523,625 SIDs, or a 10.69% year-to-date growth. Throughout the year so far, 919,448 new stock investors were recorded, with an average daily addition of 8,065 SIDs. This week, BEI demonstrated support for the “She-lebrate Kartini’s Day” event themed “Habis Gelap Terbitlah Terang: Saat Perempuan Berani Tahu, Berani Bertumbuh,” held at the BEI Main Hall on Tuesday (21/4). The event was organised by PT Dompet Aman Indonesia and opened by BEI Director Risa E. Rustam. This collaboration provided a space for women from various backgrounds to enhance financial literacy and early investment management through inspirational dialogues with Yenny Wahid and Salina Nordin, panel discussions on women’s resilience in an era of change, and exploration of three interactive zones—Financial Zone, Growth Zone, and Health Zone. Coinciding with Earth Day on Wednesday (22/4), BEI launched the “Aku Net-Zero Hero” campaign as a step to strengthen the national carbon trading ecosystem. Through this initiative, BEI encourages broader participation in the Indonesia Carbon Exchange (IDXCarbon), not only from corporations but also individuals. The campaign is expected to increase public literacy to actively participate in emission reduction in simple and measurable ways. In implementing the campaign, BEI collaborates with Bank Mandiri and Jejakin to facilitate the public in calculating, reducing, and offsetting emissions through an integrated digital platform. Through the on-behalf retirement mechanism at IDXCarbon, individuals can purchase carbon credits from green projects and obtain official certificates in their own name recorded in the National Climate Change Control Registry System (SRN PPI), thereby expected to increase carbon market liquidity while promoting collective awareness of real actions to preserve the environment. On Friday (24/4), BEI also reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening human resources quality in the capital market industry through support for the inaugural graduation of the Professional Certification Institute (LSP) IKEPAMI at the BEI Main Hall. This graduation ceremony marks the completion of the first batch of certified professionals in the capital market field as an important step in enhancing professionalism and integrity of services for investors. The graduation also serves as a momentum to strengthen ethical standards and business practice quality in the industry, while encouraging synergy between regulators and market players in developing adaptive professional standards. Through LSP IKEPAMI professional certification, BEI hopes that improved industry competencies can support the creation of a resilient and sustainable capital market ecosystem.
