Canva Offline Debuts in Indonesia, Lets You Edit Designs Without an Internet Connection
KOMPAS.com - The Canva graphic design platform has rolled out a new feature called Canva Offline in Indonesia. The feature allows users to continue creating and editing designs even without an internet connection.
Canva Offline is part of the development of Canva AI 2.0, described as the ‘biggest evolution of Canva’ since the platform was first launched in 2013.
Through this feature, users can work on designs offline, including editing processes and uploading image files from local devices.
Canva states that users will even be able to resync those edited designs once their device is connected to the internet.
‘Whether users are travelling, on the move, working remotely, or in situations with varying internet connectivity,’ said Stefani Herlie, Country Manager of Canva Indonesia.
As mentioned above, the Canva Offline feature is part of Canva AI 2.0 and is part of a major step towards realising Canva’s vision as an all-in-one platform.
Canva AI 2.0 itself was first unveiled at Canva Create 2026, with the aim of bringing a new generation of AI-based creative and productivity tools to a broader audience.
Now, Canva AI 2.0 offers a new experience in the form of AI agentic, enabling users to develop ideas, create content, collaborate, and produce outputs within a single integrated platform.
Users are expected to be able to create interactive digital experiences, structure data sheets, and generate personalised content at scale.
