Cannot pay my telephone bills

It is public knowledge that paying telephone bills is a duty. I always have a bad feeling when I haven't paid my bill and have to postpone the payment for fear of the amounts I will have to pay.

My phone, 8282-566, was installed in July and I was grateful to the Telkom telephone company for this. But when we wanted to pay the bill, the Telkom office in Gayungan said that it was still being processed. And this has happened twice.

An employee at the Gayungan office said that the bill might be at the Jl. Garuda office in Jembatan Merah, while clearly indicating that I could go there to check for it.

I thought that if Telkom can serve clients throughout this sprawling city of Surabaya, why was it so difficult to take care of a bill?

So far I have not been able to pay my bill.
