Canadian Embassy Organizing Mining Mission in Indonesia
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Canadian Embassy said on Friday it is organizing a mining mission to promote Canadian investment in Indonesia.
The program which will take place here on March 16-19 will feature a seminar on mining opportunities and doing business in Indonesia, the embassy said in a press statement.
Other events include a networking session with Indonesia Mining Association members and a series of customized field visits for interested participants, the statement said.
"The Canadian mining industry has a strong international presence, including significant investments in this region," Canadian Ambassador to Indonesia John Holmes said.
"I'm confident that this mission will provide potential Canadian investors with a comprehensive picture of the business environment in Indonesia's mining industry and create new opportunities to work together." (*)
