Collaboration between higher education institutions and industry partners must be expanded so that employment opportunities for university graduates continue to grow. “We are continuously undertaking this collaboration. As a digital business campus, we are committed to bringing more industry partners so that our students and alumni have access to careers that are relevant to current job market demands,” said Muhammad Faisal, Head of Nusa Mandiri Career Center (NCC) at Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.

He explained that one manifestation of this commitment to prepare work-ready graduates is through the Campus Hiring activity organised by NCC in collaboration with PT Sumberdaya Dian Mandiri at UNM’s Jatiwaringin Campus in Jakarta.

“This Campus Hiring serves as part of our strategy in bridging students and alumni with the needs of the industrial world,” he said.

Evidence of the event’s success was apparent, with hundreds of participants enthusiastically participating in the programme, ranging from company profile presentations, interactive question-and-answer sessions, to preliminary selection processes conducted directly by the recruitment team from PT Sumberdaya Dian Mandiri.

During the event, the company opened several job positions, including frontline staff, IT support, administration, field collection, and financial advisor roles.

Representatives from PT Sumberdaya Dian Mandiri also presented in detail the qualifications required, work systems, and career development opportunities within the company.

“The diversity of positions offered provides broad opportunities for students and alumni from various study programmes to pursue careers in line with their individual interests and competencies,” he said.

He emphasised that Campus Hiring is designed so that students and alumni not only receive information about job vacancies but also experience firsthand the professional recruitment process. “This becomes important preparation to increase their readiness to enter the working world,” he said.

He added that through Campus Hiring activities, UNM once again affirms its role as a digital business campus that consistently builds synergy with industry to produce professional, adaptive graduates who are ready to compete in the workplace.
