Campus Digitalisation Through Implementation of Digital Diplomas at Riau University
The state-owned printing company, Peruri, introduced its National Digital Diploma solution during the Riau University Exhibition Day (MUED) 2026 as part of an effort to support digital transformation within higher education environments.
The event, held at Riau University, was opened by the Rector of Riau University, Sri Indarti, and attended by several strategic partners, including the Riau Provincial Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Riau, PTPN IV, Pertamina Hulu Rokan, and Telkomsel.
Sri Indarti, the Rector of Riau University, stated that collaboration between universities and various strategic partners is a crucial factor in accelerating digital transformation in the education sector. “Riau University continues to encourage collaboration with various parties to bring innovations that impact the world of education. Through forums such as MUHD 2026, we hope to build even stronger synergy between universities, industry, and strategic institutions to support digital transformation, improve the quality of academic services, and strengthen the competitiveness of graduates in the future,” said Sri Indarti.
Regarding the Digital Diploma, Peruri introduced the National Digital Diploma equipped with Electronic Signatures and Electronic Seals. This solution is intended to increase the security of academic documents, prevent forgery, and accelerate the verification process for graduates by both educational institutions and the workforce.
Furthermore, Peruri also presented the concept of a Campus SuperApp, a platform that integrates academic and administrative services into a single application. These services include the completion of Study Plan Cards (KRS), access to Study Result Cards (KHS), payment of Single Tuition Fees (UKT), and career development services.
All services within the platform are supported by Single Sign-On (SSO) technology via Peruri Id, designed to enhance data security while facilitating access for students, lecturers, and educational staff.
In terms of an integrated ecosystem, Peruri’s Director of Digital Business, Farah Fitria Rahmayanti, emphasised that the digital transformation of education requires an integrated and trusted ecosystem. “Digital transformation in education is not just about moving services to digital platforms, but also about building an integrated, secure ecosystem capable of providing a better service experience. Peruri is here to support Indonesian universities towards more modern, efficient, and trusted educational services,” said Farah.
Peruri stated that its participation in MUED 2026 is part of the company’s commitment to supporting synergy between the worlds of education and industry. This step is expected to strengthen adaptive educational governance and support the development of human resources prepared to face the digital economy era.
