Campaigns and money politics
Campaigns and money politics
From Warta Kota
In the election campaign period, the practice of money politics is rife. Some people, who have taken part in the election campaign, said that they received money for their participation.
Legislative candidates also resort to money politics in mobilizing support.
For the common people, the election campaign is a means to earn additional income. They receive the money but do not promise to vote for the relevant party.
Our people are smart now. They know that during the election campaign a lot of empty promises are made. Legislators usually forget their constituents once they get elected and will be busy amassing wealth.
