Jakarta (ANTARA) – Starting from traditional snacks packaged attractively, CamilanQ has grown as a culinary business in Surakarta since 2020, with Pastel Abon as its main product. CamilanQ’s Pastel Abon is known for its savoury and crispy character, maintained through consistent distinctive flavour and the use of quality raw materials. This approach forms the foundation for sustaining customer demand amid changing market tastes and sales channel dynamics. Founder of CamilanQ, Sri Lestari Rahayu, stated that business development is carried out gradually, focusing on product quality, promotion, and customer service to ensure more stable growth. This process also drives marketing strengthening through digital channels as the need to reach a more diverse buyer base increases. “CamilanQ started from a hobby of making cakes and snacks at home. The initial idea came from making Pastel Abon for family and neighbours, then many liked it and requested more. In 2020, it started operating, initially selling online via social media. The process of building the business involves continuously improving product quality, promotion, and serving customers well,” she said. Sri explained that LinkUMKM BRI is utilised to expand the market through digital marketing training and access to e-commerce platforms, including the use of digital promo features. CamilanQ also uses BRI’s QRIS and savings accounts to assist in managing business finances. “I got to know LinkUMKM BRI from Rumah BUMN Solo, I joined because I wanted to improve digital capabilities and expand the market. LinkUMKM helps through digital marketing training and access to e-commerce platforms, while the features I use are digital promotions. Afterwards, turnover increased and market reach became wider,” she revealed. Up to the end of 2025, LinkUMKM has been utilised by more than 14.98 million UMKM actors as an online business mentoring facility, from capacity building to strengthening market access. This platform presents six main integrated features, namely UMKM Smart, Rumah BUMN, UMKM Media, Community, Digital Showcase, and NIB Register, supported by more than 750 learning modules to strengthen the soft and hard skills of business actors. BRI Micro Director Akhmad Purwakajaya stated that LinkUMKM BRI is designed to expand access to learning and mentoring so that UMKM can strengthen digital capabilities and organise business management more directedly. “LinkUMKM opens opportunities for business actors to follow training relevant to business needs, from basic strengthening to capacity enhancement for development. We encourage UMKM to utilise the learning and mentoring ecosystem so that business management runs more directed and adaptive. Through this strengthening, BRI is committed to bolstering UMKM as pillars of an inclusive and sustainable people’s economy,” he concluded.
