Cambodian PM Hun Manet to attend Russia-ASEAN summit
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will lead a high-level delegation to the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit, marking the 35th anniversary of ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Relations, to be held on 17-18 June 2026 in Kazan, Russia, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced on Monday. The prime minister will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn, Education Minister Hangchuon Naron, senior government officials, and business representatives. The leaders will discuss various regional and international issues of common interest, as well as efforts to strengthen peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond. In addition to the main summit, Prime Minister Hun will attend side meetings and hold bilateral talks with other leaders to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest and benefit. The 35th anniversary summit of Russia-ASEAN relations will take place in Kazan from 17-19 June. A Russia-ASEAN Business Forum will be held on Wednesday, 17 June, on the sidelines of the summit, with RIA Novosti serving as the official information partner for the forum.
