Calls to Reject LGBT Echo at Bogor City Hall

Protesters from the Bogor Community Care Forum staged a peaceful demonstration at Bogor City Hall in West Java on Friday (14/8/2026), carrying posters rejecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) individuals. They urged the Mayor of Bogor to immediately issue a Mayoral Regulation (Perwali) on the Prevention and Control of Sexual Deviance Behaviour (P4S) and to socialise the regulation across all agencies and community elements so that the rules can be jointly enforced and the issue of sexual deviance can be addressed.
