Called Up to Indonesian U20 National Team Training Camp, Persib Trio Not Just Passing Through

Three young players from Persib Bandung have received call-ups to the training camp (TC) of the Indonesian U20 National Team.

The three Persib Bandung players are Kevin Muhammad Islami Pasha, Nazriel Alfaro Syahdan, and Fasya Nur Syarif.

The training camp will take place in Surabaya from 2-15 March under the direction of coach Nova Arianto. This agenda is part of preparations for the 2026 ASEAN U19 Cup, scheduled for 1-14 June.

Beyond this tournament, the training camp also serves as the initial stage of squad formation for the 2027 AFC U20 Championship qualifiers.

During the programme, players will undertake physical training and team discipline development.

He acknowledged that competition would be intense because players from various regions across Indonesia have also been called up.

“Our target is to provide the best for the Indonesian National Team,” said Kevin Muhammad Islami Pasha, cited by BolaSport.com on Monday (2/3/2026).

“And to maintain Persib’s good name.”

He assessed that each player arrives with thorough preparation. Therefore, the primary focus is demonstrating ability during selection to secure a place in the final squad.

“We know all players from across Indonesia are preparing themselves very well,” he said.

“So we also have to be ready to compete.”

He previously represented the Indonesian U17 National Team at the 2025 FIFA U17 World Cup.
