The Hajj FinancialManagement Agency (BPKH) held an event titled ‘Call from Arafah’ at Mahasina Darul Qur’an wal Hadits Islamic boarding school in Bekasi on Tuesday (26 May 2026). Hundreds of santri attended to watch a live report of the wukuf sermon from Arafah plains, delivered by KH Asep Saifuddin Chalim.

The event was hosted by presenter and content creator Sahil Muchsin Mulachela, who interviewed BPKH head Fadlul Imansyah about the current situation in Arafah. Fadlul stated that the weather in the holy site, particularly Arafah, is challenging with temperatures around 40°C, but pilgrims remain enthusiastic in their worship.

He added that the overall atmosphere in Arafah is conducive, with hajj officials ensuring health, food, and mobility services are functioning well so pilgrims can worship peacefully. Fadlul emphasised that wukuf in Arafah is the climax of the hajj pilgrimage, which pilgrims eagerly await after years of waiting for their turn. He urged pilgrims to maintain physical health and rest well before wukuf.

During the dialogue, Sahil asked Fadlul to pray for the Mahasina students to receive hajj call soon. Fadlul responded by emphasising the importance of early registration, saying, ‘Amin, amin. But don’t forget to register first. Only after registration can the estimated departure time be known.’ The students responded enthusiastically.
