Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, also known as Cak Imin, has invited all political parties in Indonesia to support the new economic direction initiated by President Prabowo Subianto, which the National Awakening Party (PKB) refers to as ‘Prabowonomics’. Speaking in the Gelora Bung Karno area of Jakarta on Sunday, Cak Imin said he is urging all political parties to review and revise 108 laws. ‘I will continue to persuade all parties, inviting all political parties, let us make this constitutional economy or Prabowonomics a success by amending 108 laws,’ he said. He added that several other legal products deemed contradictory to the spirit of constitutional economy-based development also need to be reviewed and revised. Furthermore, he stated that targeted budget politics must be strengthened to ensure the success of Prabowonomics. According to him, the state budget (APBN) must be directed more towards programmes whose benefits can be felt directly by the public. These programmes could include building bridges for schoolchildren in remote areas, accelerating the rehabilitation of educational facilities, and strengthening community entrepreneurship as priorities for state budget utilisation.
