Cak Imin Thanks Prabowo for Opportunity to Serve in Government
National Awakening Party (PKB) Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, also known as Cak Imin, opened the party’s 28th anniversary celebration at the Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan. Cak Imin expressed his gratitude to President Prabowo Subianto for providing the opportunity to participate in the government. “Thank you to all parties, especially to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr Prabowo, who continues to give PKB the opportunity to serve together through various fields in the government,” Cak Imin said in his speech on Thursday (23/7/2026). Cak Imin also thanked all parties in parliament and regional legislative councils who have synergised with PKB, as well as the public and PKB supporters. “PKB is a solution to jointly overcome the challenges of life for the people, nation, and state,” he stated. Cak Imin said the 28th anniversary carries the theme ‘New Direction for the Constitutional Economic Mandate’ as a form of support for the government. He declared that PKB is ready to oversee all the struggles and ideals of the government and the party’s founders. “This theme is shortened to one word, Prabowonomics. This theme is a form of gratitude and PKB’s seriousness in continuing to bring a new direction for the national economy to become a self-reliant and robust nation based on its own strength,” he said. “We at PKB are inspired by the President’s spirit and determination to continue overseeing the new economic direction amidst various difficult challenges, both geo-economic and geopolitical,” he added. The event, held at JCC, Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday evening, was attended directly by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Party chairpersons present included Golkar Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia, Democrat Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, PKS President Al Muzammil Yusuf, and PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan. Also in attendance were party elites such as Gerindra Daily Chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, NasDem Treasurer Ahmad Sahroni, PAN Secretary General Eko Patrio, Golkar Treasurer Sari Yuliati, PDI Perjuangan Executive Djarot Saiful Hidayat, Democrat Secretary General Herman Khaeron, and PSI Vice Chairman Isyana Bagoes Oka.
