Cak Imin reminds PKB cadres to deliver justice for the people
Jakarta - Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, commonly known as Cak Imin, chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB), has reminded party cadres to deliver justice to the Indonesian people.
Cak Imin made the statement whilst attending a cultural Quran recitation event titled “Welcoming the Night of Nuzululqur’an with Love and Collective Prayer for Iran” in Jakarta on Tuesday.
At the event, he emphasised that the Quran carries a vision whereby security and wellbeing can only be achieved through the establishment of justice.
“Justice must continue to be delivered. Justice cannot come from the heavens. Justice is a mandate for a leader. Its essence is to bring access closer to those who are suffering,” he stated.
He therefore reminded leaders, particularly PKB cadres, that justice will not come of its own accord without serious political effort.
He specifically instructed PKB’s autonomous body, Panji Bangsa, to remain at the forefront in championing the rights of the people and the nation, particularly those who have been marginalised from access to prosperity.
“I ask Panji Bangsa to work towards realising justice for all society, people, nation and state,” he said.
