Cak Imin Pushes for Revision of 108 Laws to Support Prabowonomics

Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar, also known as Cak Imin, has stated his commitment to following up on the Prabowonomics concept through regulatory reform and budget policy. He has proposed amending a number of laws. “The first is to review and amend 108 laws. I will continue to persuade everyone, invite all parties, let us make this Prabowonomics constitutional economy a success by amending 108 laws,” Cak Imin said after the PKB Run at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Central Jakarta, on Sunday (26/7/2026).

Cak Imin outlined the proposed legal revisions related to the Prabowonomics concept, including the Omnibus Law, the Mineral and Coal Mining Law, and the Environmental Law. “Among them are the Omnibus Law, the Mineral and Coal Mining Law, the Environmental Law, and other products that are contrary to the spirit of development based on a constitutional economy,” he continued.

Cak Imin added that Prabowonomics must be implemented by strengthening budget politics. He believes the State Budget (APBN) should be used for programmes that directly benefit the public. “For example, what is urgent is a bridge for schoolchildren in remote areas, so they don’t have to get wet going to school. This is a priority,” he said.

Furthermore, the APBN needs to be used for priority school repair infrastructure. He also stated that the entrepreneurial capacity of the community must be fostered. He assessed that the Prabowonomics concept can serve as a foundation for national development that is in line with the constitutional mandate. Moreover, it can deliver economic justice for all Indonesian people. “In essence, Pak Prabowo’s APBN policy must be expanded for things that can be directly enjoyed by the people. That is what is called a constitutional economy,” he said.
