Cak Imin: Prabowo Truly Aligns Economic Growth with Justice

National Awakening Party (PKB) Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, known as Cak Imin, stated that President Prabowo Subianto is committed to aligning economic growth with equitable distribution and justice. “PKB witnesses that Mr Prabowo, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, is truly serious about aligning economic growth with equity and justice,” Cak Imin said in his speech at PKB’s 28th anniversary celebration at the Jakarta Convention Center on Thursday (23/7/2026). Cak Imin expressed his desire for economic movement to bring tangible benefits to the people. He noted that the current government’s measures are part of refining the direction towards economic independence. “This is our sincere commitment to follow up by perfecting all steps as part of refining our direction towards economic independence,” Cak Imin said. “This commitment, Mr President, comes from the depths of our hearts, from the kiai, the ulama who have long yearned for an economy that can truly be felt by the people in the villages and across the entire archipelago,” he added. Cak Imin also remarked that President Prabowo has shifted the direction of Indonesia’s state budget (APBN), specifically mentioning a change in budgetary politics. “The President has even changed the new direction of our APBN. The politics of budgeting has been changed,” he added.
