Cak Imin Inaugurates 19,675 PKB Branch Executives Across Indonesia
National Awakening Party (PKB) Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, known as Cak Imin, inaugurated 19,675 branch executive board (DPC) members from across Indonesia at Taman Fatahillah in Jakarta on Wednesday, ahead of the party’s 28th anniversary celebrations. A total of 2,570 cadres attended the ceremony in person, representing the newly appointed officials. Abdul Halim Iskandar, a senior party executive, stated that the 514 branch chairmen were selected from 1,816 candidates through a rigorous process involving professional fit-and-proper tests and psychological assessments. Cak Imin explained that the party has adopted a new, more participatory management approach, moving away from internal voting to a consensus-based mechanism to prevent divisions among members who might feel aggrieved by losing a competitive vote.
