Cak Imin Confirms President Prabowo Will Attend PKB's 28th Anniversary Celebration

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Central Executive Board Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, also known as Cak Imin, has confirmed that President Prabowo Subianto will attend the peak celebration of the party’s 28th anniversary on Thursday evening. Cak Imin confirmed the President’s attendance after meeting with him on Wednesday. “Yes, I met with the President earlier. God willing, the President will attend tomorrow (Thursday, 23/7),” he said in Jakarta on Wednesday evening. When asked whether the President would deliver a speech at the peak of the PKB anniversary event, the Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment responded affirmatively. “Yes, definitely. Definitely,” he said. Previously, PKB had announced that it had invited President Prabowo to the peak celebration of its 28th anniversary, which is scheduled to take place in Jakarta on Thursday evening. “The peak event will be held on the evening of 23 July, God willing, and will be attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia along with all leaders of friendly political parties,” said Secretary of the PKB 28th Anniversary Committee Rivqy Abdul Halim at the DPP PKB Office in Jakarta on Monday (6/7).
