Cak Imin Confirms President Prabowo Will Attend PKB's 28th Anniversary Celebration

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, popularly known as Cak Imin, has confirmed that President Prabowo Subianto will attend the culminating event of PKB’s 28th anniversary (Harlah) on Thursday evening (23 July).

Cak Imin gave the confirmation after meeting President Prabowo on Wednesday (22 July).

“Yes, I met the President earlier. God willing, tomorrow (Thursday, 23 July) the President will attend,” said Cak Imin in Jakarta on Wednesday evening (22 July).

When asked whether President Prabowo would deliver a speech at the peak of the PKB Harlah event, the Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment confirmed he would.

“Yes, certainly. Certainly,” he said.

Previously, PKB had announced it was inviting President Prabowo to the culminating event of its 28th Harlah, scheduled to be held in Jakarta on Thursday evening.

“The main event will take place on the evening of 23 July, which, God willing, will be attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia along with the entire leadership of friendly political parties,” said Secretary of the PKB 28th Harlah Committee, Rivqy Abdul Halim, at the PKB Central Executive Board office in Jakarta on Monday (6 July).
