Cak Imin calls on PKB to be nation's solution at Hasyim Asy'ari study closure

Jakarta — PKB party chairman Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, commonly known as Cak Imin, called on party cadres to serve as a solution for the nation whilst closing the Hasyim Asy’ari Scripture Study Series at PKB party headquarters in Jakarta on Thursday.

“We must remain on track as a solution for the nation and become a force capable of presenting a way out for every societal problem,” Cak Imin said.

He invited all party cadres and the public to absorb the intellectual legacy of NU scholars, particularly Hasyim Asy’ari, so that it brings blessing to national and state life.

Cak Imin expressed gratitude that the Hasyim Asy’ari scripture study series proceeded smoothly throughout this year’s Ramadan, serving as a means to strengthen spiritual bonds with Islamic scholars.

“Alhamdulillah, the study of Mbah Hasyim’s teachings that we conducted throughout Ramadan is concluding after we studied it 14 times. May blessings accompany us all, and may we all become students of Mbah Hasyim,” he said.

He also thanked the kiai and nyai (Islamic scholars and their wives) who read and studied Hasyim Asy’ari’s works throughout Ramadan.

“This Ramadan tradition is an annual momentum and a means to pursue and reconnect the spiritual chain linking us to NU’s founding scholars, particularly to Mbah Hasyim,” he said.

He prayed that Islamic scholars would be granted good health, long life, and knowledge beneficial to the people and nation.
