Cabinet Secretary Teddy's Friendly Moments with Rocky Gerung and Syahganda at the Palace
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya was involved in friendly moments with academic Rocky Gerung and Great Institute Director Council Chairman Syahganda Nainggolan. These amicable moments occurred during a break in the agenda of official inaugurations at the State Palace, Jakarta.
The inauguration was held at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (27/4/2026). The camaraderie was evident before the inauguration began.
Rocky Gerung and Syahganda Nainggolan initially appeared to be chatting with Jumhur Hidayat, who was inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto as Minister of the Environment (LH).
Then, Cabinet Secretary Teddy approached. Teddy then shook hands with Syahganda Nainggolan and Rocky Gerung. They then chatted amiably and laughed.
Rocky Gerung stated that he was invited to the Palace to witness the inauguration of Jumhur Hidayat as minister. He said that Jumhur’s entry marks that the cabinet will be effective with the presence of a former prisoner.
“Yes, as a representative of civil society, I was invited to witness it, and also as a marker that the cabinet becomes effective if there are figures who are former inmates,” he said.
“Jumhur Hidayat is a former prisoner, but he is an intellectual; he studied labour, economy, and environment at ITB. So because I know him, I accompanied him. That’s the reason I’m here,” he continued.
Furthermore, Rocky revealed the conversation with Teddy. He spoke about Teddy’s leadership through body language.
“Yes, I talked with the Cabinet Secretary about the ethics of care and the ethics of rights. The ethics of care means psychologically showing leadership through body language. Not through the body, but through body language like that,” he said.
“Now, our body language has two; the spoken body language and the hidden body language. I told Mr Teddy that he is capable of distinguishing when to display the spoken body language and when to keep the psychological body language for certain moments,” he continued.
