Cabinet Secretary Teddy Supports DKI Attorney General's Search of Ministry of Public Works, Here's Why

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya commented on the search of the Ministry of Public Works’ office by the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office on Thursday (9/4/2026). He stated that he does not object to the law enforcement authorities’ actions. “Yes, go ahead with the search. It was last night, right? Okay, and the night before, Minister of Public Works (Doddy Hanggodo) happened to be at my place,” he said at the Presidential Palace Complex on Friday (10/4/2026). Furthermore, Teddy affirmed that his side is open to law enforcement, as expressed by President Prabowo Subianto. “The President often says that if anyone is guilty and it is proven, then they should be examined, including coming in and going out. And the Ministry of Public Works was searched by the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office yesterday. That’s about it,” he said.
