Cabinet Secretary Teddy shares President Prabowo's swimming routine every 5 a.m.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya shared a moment from President Prabowo Subianto’s morning routine, which includes exercising by swimming every day at 05.00 a.m. “A little story this morning, starting this Saturday, exactly at 05.00 a.m., President Prabowo carried out his morning routine of swimming for about one hour at his private residence in Hambalang, West Java,” said Seskab Teddy when contacted in Jakarta on Saturday. On the same occasion, Teddy then reminded the public to always exercise. “Mens sana in corpore sano, in a healthy body there is a strong soul. What have you exercised today?” asked Seskab Teddy in his post on the official Instagram of the Presidential Secretariat. Meanwhile, the Presidential Secretariat in its official broadcast explained that President Prabowo’s daily morning swimming routine “is part of the Head of State’s personal discipline in maintaining physical fitness amid the dense national agenda.” “Since 05.00 a.m., President Prabowo has started his activities with swimming for approximately one hour. This routine reflects the President’s consistency in maintaining stamina and health as the main support for carrying out government duties,” stated the official broadcast from the Presidential Secretariat. The Presidential Secretariat in the same official broadcast continued that the habit of maintaining fitness practised by President Prabowo becomes a reflection of the importance of keeping physical condition in carrying out responsibilities as a national leader. “This principle also becomes part of a relevant message in building tough and sustainable leadership,” stated the official broadcast from the Presidential Secretariat. After exercising, President Prabowo continued his work agenda by departing for Magelang, Central Java. “Next, the President took off at 08.00 a.m. to Magelang to give directions to DPRD chairpersons throughout Indonesia,” said Seskab Teddy. In his working visit to the Military Academy (Akmil) in Magelang, the President will give directions to all DPRD chairpersons throughout Indonesia.
