Cabinet Secretary Teddy receives message from resident for President regarding Sekolah Rakyat programme

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya received a direct message from a resident to be conveyed to Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto regarding the continuity of the Sekolah Rakyat programme. “May God Almighty protect you, sir. And may you be granted health to lead. This kind of programme, sir, the little people need it,” said a middle-aged mother, a parent of a student, in a video uploaded to the official Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat, quoted in Jakarta on Friday. In the video, Teddy appeared to have a warm conversation with the resident known as Bu Nina while visiting Sekolah Rakyat. “It needs special attention for those not reached by the formal system. Thank you, sir,” Bu Nina continued in the video clip showing her talking with Cabinet Secretary Teddy. Through the caption of the post, Teddy revealed that instead of asking for a photo together, Bu Nina chose to entrust prayers and hopes for the head of state. Teddy emphasised that the message is a mandate that he will promptly convey to the President. Cabinet Secretary Teddy also expressed thanks for the good prayers given by the resident. He hopes that the presence of Sekolah Rakyat can serve as a bridge for children throughout Indonesia to realise their future dreams. “May the good intentions of Mr President through Sekolah Rakyat help our young siblings achieve their aspirations. Aamiin YRA,” Teddy wrote in the post’s description.
