Cabinet Secretary Teddy Pays Eid al-Fitr Visit to Vice President Gibran at the Palace

“Good afternoon… Still in the month of Shawwal and in the Lebaran atmosphere, on Thursday evening, 2 April 2026, I met with the Vice President, Mr Gibran Rakabuming, for silaturahmi at the Vice Presidential Palace, Jakarta,” stated the official Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat, quoted in Jakarta on Friday.

In that meeting, Cabinet Secretary Teddy, together with Vice President Gibran, also discussed various issues and the latest developments currently taking place in Indonesia.

The meeting lasted for approximately 1.5 hours in the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr silaturahmi, conducted still in the month of Shawwal, which traditionally becomes a time for mutual visits and strengthening relationships after Lebaran.

Previously, Cabinet Secretary Teddy accompanied President Prabowo Subianto for Lebaran in a disaster-affected location in Sumatra in Aceh Tamiang Regency, and joined the series of working visits by the President to Japan and South Korea.

Meanwhile, Vice President Gibran conducted Eid al-Fitr silaturahmi for 1447 H at several Islamic boarding schools in Central Java, and attended several agendas held at the Vice Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
