Cabinet Secretary Teddy Meets Gibran at Vice Presidential Palace, Discusses Indonesian Situation
Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel TNI Teddy Indra Wijaya visited Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Gibran Rakabuming Raka at the Vice Presidential Palace on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta, last Thursday evening (2/4). In the meeting, Teddy stated that he was carrying out greetings in the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. Additionally, during the 1.5-hour meeting, Teddy discussed developments in Indonesia with Gibran. “Still in the month of Syawal and in the Eid atmosphere, on Thursday night, 2 April 2026, I met with the Vice President, Mr Gibran Rakabuming, for greetings at the Vice Presidential Palace, Jakarta,” said Teddy’s statement quoted from a post on the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account, @sekretariat.kabinet, on Friday (3/4). “In this meeting lasting approximately 1.5 hours, various recent developments in the country were also discussed,” he continued, adding the initials TIW at the end of the image caption. In the post, the Cabinet Secretariat displayed four photos of Teddy and Gibran, from meeting on the palace terrace to conversing facing each other on the sofa inside the palace. Additionally, a video was uploaded showing Gibran and Teddy conversing until the eldest son of Indonesia’s seventh President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) bid farewell to the Cabinet Secretary from the Vice Presidential Palace.
