Cabinet Secretary Teddy Meets Businessman Haji Isam to Discuss Downstreaming and Energy Investment

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya received a visit from national businessman Andi Syamsuddin Arsyad, known as Haji Isam, at the Cabinet Secretariat office in Jakarta on Monday (10/8/2026). The two discussed investment developments in the mining, downstreaming, and energy sectors.

According to a statement from the Cabinet Secretariat, the meeting focused on strengthening the national economy through downstreaming, energy, and logistics. Teddy emphasised the government’s commitment to fostering a healthy and conducive investment climate, accelerating downstreaming, increasing domestic added value, and creating more job opportunities.

This meeting followed a gathering led by President Prabowo Subianto with members of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) at the Presidential Palace on Friday (31/7). Kadin Chairman Anindya Bakrie stated that the discussion with the President centred on enhancing the economy across the regions.
