Cabinet Secretary Teddy Launches 'Setkab Gengs' Idea Competition to Support Asta Cita

Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya has launched the Setkab Gengs Idea Competition as a platform for Cabinet Secretariat (Setkab) employees to present ideas, innovations, and policy solutions that support the government’s priority programmes and President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita vision. According to a statement from the Cabinet Secretariat on Sunday, 106 proposals from various work units entered the competition. After a selection process, the top 30 proposals advanced to the preliminary round on 26 April 2026. From that number, the 16 best proposals will have the opportunity to present their ideas directly to the Cabinet Secretary in a concise three-minute presentation format on 8 June 2026. Through this format, participants are challenged not only to produce relevant and applicable ideas but also to hone their critical thinking skills, convey ideas effectively, and respond to questions and feedback in a measured manner. The competition also serves as a means for employees to develop their personal capacity while strengthening a culture of innovation within the Cabinet Secretariat. Through the various ideas and breakthroughs generated, the competition is expected to make a tangible contribution to national development. By hosting the Setkab Gengs Idea Competition, Cabinet Secretary Teddy has opened a space for employees to share their best thinking. The various proposals emerging from the competition are expected not to remain mere concepts, but to be developed into solutions that deliver real benefits to the public and support Indonesia’s progress.
