Cabinet Secretary Teddy Attends Meeting at Ministry of Economic Coordination to Discuss Budget Adjustments Following Global Situation

JAKARTA — Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya attended a coordination meeting at the Ministry of Economic Coordination in Central Jakarta on Monday, 16 March 2026.

According to the Cabinet Secretariat’s official account, the meeting concerned coordination of budget efficiency and optimisation. “On Monday, 16 March 2026, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya attended a Budget Efficiency and Optimisation Coordination Meeting held at the Ministry of Economic Coordination of the Republic of Indonesia,” the account stated.

The meeting primarily addressed the government’s planning to readjust budgets across ministries and state institutions. “The government will continue to monitor developments in the global situation dynamically before taking further fiscal policy decisions,” a spokesperson said.

The meeting was chaired directly by Economic Coordinating Minister Airlangga Hartanto.
