Cabinet Secretary: Prabowo witnesses exchange of 10 strategic MoUs between Indonesia and South Korea

Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto directly witnessed the announcement and exchange of 10 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between Indonesia and South Korea during his state visit at the Presidential Palace of South Korea, Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House), Seoul, on Wednesday.

Through a statement from the official Instagram of the Cabinet Secretariat quoted in Jakarta on Wednesday, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the exchange of MoUs represents a concrete manifestation of strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, which continues to develop with a long-term orientation.

“The agreements announced cover various priority sectors, ranging from economy, energy, digital, to health and future industries,” said Teddy.

The 10 MoUs exchanged are: Establishment of a Special Comprehensive Strategic Dialogue; Economic Cooperation 2.0; Cooperation in Critical Minerals Partnership; Cooperation in Digital Development; and Cooperation in the Field of AI for Basic Health and Human Development.

Furthermore, Cooperation in the Field of Clean Energy; Cooperation in the Field of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS); Cooperation in the Field of Offshore Power Generation Services Industry; Cooperation on Protection and Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights; and Financial Cooperation (Danantara-Exim Bank of Korea).

Teddy conveyed that the Indonesian Government and South Korea are committed to building a resilient future through a strong and mutually beneficial partnership.

This cross-sector collaboration is expected to drive inclusive economic growth, strengthen industrial resilience, and accelerate the transformation towards a technology- and clean energy-based economy.
