Cabinet Secretary: JK Requests Meeting with President Prabowo, Will Attend with Son

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya has disclosed that President Prabowo Subianto accepted a request from Indonesia’s 10th and 12th Vice President, Jusuf Kalla, who wished to meet. The request was conveyed by JK several days ago. Teddy mentioned that JK will come with his son, who is also active in the business world. The meeting is set to take place today at the Palace, Jakarta. Teddy stated that Prabowo opens up space for communication and friendship with various national figures, including business actors, as part of efforts to strengthen unity and build collaboration for the nation’s progress. It is known that Prabowo carried out activities as usual at the Palace today, summoning several cabinet members for a meeting. Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi arrived at the Presidential Palace. Dudy indicated he would report on programme progress at the Ministry of Transportation, though when asked whether the summons was related to domestic flight ticket prices amid a planned revision of the upper tariff limit, he did not provide a definite answer, stating he would prepare for whatever the President asked about.
