Cabinet Secretary directs echelon III officials, emphasising solutions and speed in performance

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya emphasised the importance of swift, precise, and solution-oriented performance to employees of the Cabinet Secretariat (Setkab), particularly echelon III officials, during a briefing at the Setkab office. “Do not just identify problems, as we have long known the issues, but seek solutions to those problems,” Teddy said, quoted from the official Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat on Tuesday. In his briefing, Teddy noted that Setkab plays a strategic role as the “kitchen” of the government, supporting decision-making processes at the leadership level. This role, according to him, demands that every employee works responsively and provides tangible contributions to resolving various governmental matters. He also stressed that the primary duty of employees is to deliver advice, input, and information needed by the leadership. Such information delivery must be done swiftly and accurately, whether requested or not, to ensure the smooth flow of policy-making processes. The briefing was specifically directed at echelon III officials as a key part of the bureaucratic structure responsible for processing and delivering strategic information.
