Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya has affirmed that the government under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto is running stably and under control amid various issues developing in society. He outlined several aspects demonstrating the government’s success in maintaining national stability.

One primary indicator is the government’s policy of not increasing the price of subsidised fuel, even as many other countries face pressures and rises in energy prices due to the global situation.

“In the midst of global conflicts, many countries are experiencing fuel difficulties and price increases. But the government has decided not to raise the price of subsidised fuel. This is a fact that can be seen directly,” he stated to reporters on Friday (10/3/2026).

In addition, Teddy emphasised that the national economy continues to show a positive direction. Public purchasing power is assessed to remain maintained, while various economic indicators point towards optimism.

Teddy highlighted the smooth implementation of the two most recent Eid periods under President Prabowo’s administration. According to him, the stability of essential goods prices, availability of goods, and smooth flow of the homecoming exodus serve as tangible evidence of the government’s performance.

“Facts on the ground show that the prices of essential needs are stable, fuel is available, and the homecoming flow runs smoothly. Everything is measurable and felt directly by the public,” he explained.

Amid the proliferation of various opinions, Teddy also reminded of the importance of conveying information based on data and facts, rather than mere assumptions that could potentially cause unrest.

“The important thing is to speak according to accurate data and facts!” he asserted.

He also invited all elements of society to jointly support the government in building the nation. “If not us who support the government, then who!” added Teddy.

Furthermore, he affirmed that the government remains open to criticism and input, as long as it is conveyed constructively and does not mislead the public. According to him, differences of opinion are a normal part of democracy, but they must prioritise responsibility in maintaining optimism and national unity.

“Please provide criticism, but do not make the public anxious. We all want the best for this country,” stated Teddy.
