President Prabowo Subianto carried out a cabinet reshuffle today. Six figures were sworn in by Prabowo, ranging from Mohammad Jumhur Hidayat and Hasan Nasbi to Abdul Kadir Kading.

The inauguration of ministers and agency heads took place at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday (27/4/2026). These six individuals were sworn in directly by President Prabowo.

  1. Mohammad Jumhur Hidayat

Quoting from the Association for the Improvement of Small Businesses (PUPUK) website, Moh Jumhur Hidayat, or more familiarly known as Jumhur, was born in Bandung in February 1968. During his studies at the Bandung Institute of Technology, he was known as one of the student leaders and activists.

Jumhur continued his studies in Physics Engineering at the National University and then in 2013 completed a Master’s degree in Sociology at the University of Indonesia. In June 1989, he was involved in student demonstrations as part of international solidarity with the peaceful student demonstrations in China’s Tiananmen Square, known as the “Tiananmen Tragedy”.

He continued his struggle by joining several NGOs focused on empowering micro and small enterprises. He also founded a labour organisation and led the oldest and largest labour organisation, the All-Indonesian Confederation of Workers’ Unions (KSPSI).

In 2007, Jumhur was appointed as Head of the National Agency for Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (BNP2TKI-now BP2MI), a non-ministerial government institution under and directly accountable to the President of the Republic of Indonesia. One of the important responsibilities of this agency is to eradicate human trafficking.

  1. Hanif Faisol Nurofiq

Citing the Ministry of Environment website, Dr. Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, S.Hut., M.P, born on 21 March 1971, completed his education at SDN Kadipaten 2 Bojonegoro, SMPN 1 Bojonegoro, and SMAN 1 Bojonegoro. He then pursued his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Lambung Mangkurat (UNLAM) in South Kalimantan, and successfully obtained a Doctorate from Brawijaya University in Malang.

  1. Dudung Abdurachman

Sourced from the Trisakti University website, General Dudung Abdurachman, born on 19 November 1965 in Bandung, West Java, is a graduate of the Military Academy Class of 1988. He built a strategic career in the Indonesian Army (TNI AD), such as serving as Commander of the Jakarta Military Regional Command (Pangdam Jaya), Commander of the Army Strategic Reserve Command (Pangkostrad), and Chief of Staff of the Army (KSAD) from 17 November 2021 to 25 October 2023.

He earned a doctoral degree from Trisakti University in 2023 with Cum Laude honours in Strategic Management. Since 2025, Dudung has been active in the civilian sector as Special Presidential Advisor for National Defence and Chairman of the Defence Industry Policy Committee.

  1. Muhammad Qodari

Quoting from the official portal of the Presidential Staff Office, Muhammad Qodari, or more commonly known as M. Qodari, was born on 15 October 1973 in Palembang, South Sumatra. He is known as a political observer and researcher.

  1. Hasan Nasbi

Hasan Nasbi is the Founder of Cyrus Network. He is also a political consultant.

Hasan Nasbi previously supported Jokowi in the 2014 and 2019 presidential elections. In 2024, Hasan Nasbi declared his support for Prabowo Subianto. He previously served as Head of the Presidential Communications Office before being sworn in as Special Presidential Advisor for Communication.

  1. Abdul Kadir Kading

According to the official website of Diponegoro University (Undip), Abdul Kadir Karding, born on 25 March 1973, is an Indonesian politician and bureaucrat. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (then Faculty of Fisheries) at UNDIP in 1997, and completed the Master’s Programme in Public Administration at UNDIP in 2009.

He previously served as Minister of Protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers from 2024 to 2025. Before that, he was a member of the People’s Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) from 2009 to 2024 representing the Central Java VI electoral district. Abdul Kadir Karding once served as Chairman of Commission VIII of the DPR RI.
