Cabinet Reshuffle Rumours Intensify as Figures from Jumhur to Rocky Gerung Gather at the Palace

Rumours of a cabinet reshuffle are intensifying alongside the arrival of several figures at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday (27/4/2026). They were dressed in suits with light blue ties. One of them was Jumhur Hidayat, who served as Head of the National Agency for Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers from 2007 to 2014. Activist Syahganda Nainggolan also attended, wearing a formal shirt. Meanwhile, national figure Rocky Gerung wore a shirt. Also observed were Presidential Chief of Staff Muhammad Qodari, former Minister for the Protection of Migrant Workers Abdul Kadir Karding, Special Advisor to the President for Defence Affairs Retired General TNI Dudung Abdurachman, and Minister of Environment Hanif Faisol. They uniformly wore black suits with ties and peci caps, characteristic of individuals about to be inaugurated by the President.
